After 6 long hours and 24 matches on the tennis courts yesterday, our Spartan tennis team showed a tremendous amount of determination and resiliency in earning a spot in the Gold medal round of the South Bay League Doubles Tournament.

Congratulations to Pete Estrada and Lenyn Gomez (first year players) for staging an epic comeback, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8, to play for the Championship today at 1:00 at Montgomery HS.

Also, to Armando Munoz and Jazrel Castenares (first year players) showed the same guts in another rally to earn a spot in the CIF qualifying round by beating CPH, 1-6, 6-2, 10-5.
