Youth in Action (YIA) is a project of the Institute for Public Strategies (IPS) that aims to empower youth in the South Bay and Border Communities. Youth in Action supports young people in transforming our communities to create positive and long-lasting social change. Young people’s voices should be heard and valued!

YIA is seeking students to participate in their Youth Advisory Board program. YIA  is seeking those interested in leadership, advocacy, social justice, youth development, and mentorship. Participation requirements includes: providing feedback and input on Youth in Action programs and events, attend meetings twice a month virtually on Zoom for one year, and must live in the South Bay or Border Communities area.
